Update 4: ISIL Suspect Arrested for Jewish Museum Shooting in Brussels, Belgium

The Belgian and French press are currently reporting that the alleged suspect of the May 24 shooting in the jewish museum in Brussels, Belgium, had been arrested on Friday May 30 after arriving in Marseilles, France, by buss coming from Brussels.

Government and media reports claim that the alleged 29-year-old shooter Mehdi Nemmouche, a French national, is a known mercenary who had previously fought in Syria against the Assad-regime in the ranks of the ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant).

syria, isil, jewish museum, brussels, shooting, terror, lone shooter, israel lobby, belgium, europe, eu, elections, department of homeland security, israel, Mehdi Nemmouche

Of course, now that the alleged shooter is officially being linked to ISIL another embarrassing situation has come up for the Belgian, Israeli and US governments. From the very start the Belgian government and the EU were undeniably pressured by the Israel lobby to advertise the Brussels museum shooting as “antisemitic terrorism,” although no evidence existed then and not even today, to support such claims, as the western propaganda machine goes in overdrive.

The fact that Nemmouche is being linked to ISIL is embarrassing because the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant that is fighting against the Assad-regime is a by the western governments backed and sponsored terror group, linked to the CIA’s favorite … Al Qaeda.

Earlier, ISIL attacks on Israeli installations in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights were used as a pretext by Israel to justify air strikes on a Syrian airbase. Also the Turkish government has been caught working together with ISIL, to justify their invasion of Syria under the pretext of defending the tomb of Suleyman Shah.

ISIL is known to be a faction of Al Qaeda mercenaries that are being funded and supplied by Washington, Brussels, Ankara, London, Paris, Tel Aviv and Riyadh, in their efforts to overthrow the Syrian government in which they fortunately continue to fail [1, 2, 3]. Additional reports confirm that indeed ISIL has become an important instrument of the UNEI-Saudi alliance (US/NATO/EU/Israel) to further destabilize the Middle East, aside from the fact that members of this alliance are active in every country where there is the greatest risk for terrorism.”

A FNA (Iran) report of May 5, 2014, describes that the CIA, the Mossad, MI6 and arab allies have set up a joint operation room in Amman, Jordan, “to undermine the security and stability of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Egypt.” It also describes that the operations of the ISIL have been the products of this joint operation room.

Thus, all this information is quite embarrassing, to say the least, for those who have proudly reported that they have captured the alleged suspect of the Museum shooting in Brussels. After all, how can this man be involved in antisemitic terrorism when Israel is at least involved in his very hiring and deployment in Syria? Does the Israeli government then fund attacks on its own people, abroad and in Israel?

The UNEI alliance has created such an enormous monster, Al Qaeda and its terrorism, that all control over it has already been lost a long time ago. Loose cannons of the several factions that comprise Al Qaeda are now turning on their creators and when they do they are regarded as mere expendable assets. Whether ISIL and Al Qaeda attacks occur or are being staged in the Middle East, the US or Europe doesn’t really matter to the creators of the beast, anyway it turns out more security measures can and will be implemented. In the end, both ways serve the same imperialistic cause and hardly anyone of the general public seems to even care.

Update 3 Museum Shooting Brussels: Tel Aviv Couple Worked for Israeli Department of Homeland Security

jewish museum, brussels, shooting, terror, lone shooter, israel lobby, belgium, europe, eu, elections, department of homeland security, israel

Jewish sources have confirmed that both Emanuel Riva and Miriam Riva, the Tel Aviv couple that was murdered in the Brussels jewish museum on May 24, worked for the Israeli government. The Sources explicitly state that the Riva’s worked for “Ministry of Public Security” / “DHS” which stands for the Israeli Department of Homeland Security. They were able to conclude this because they had seen the by the Israeli government submitted obituary in a newspaper that announced the deaths of Emanuel Riva and Miriam Riva, as can be seen in the above image which is a copy of that particular obituary.

The sources further describe that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been wrongfully using the shooting in Brussels on purpose to further the “antisemitic” agenda, which we explained partially in our previous updates [1, 2] about this shooting. Continuously the Israeli government and the Israel lobby capitalize on any incident that involves jewish people, in an endless attempt to further portray Israel as the black sheep of the world, the “powerless” victim that everyone hates for no reason at all.

The jewish sources state it quite clear that they are tired of this propaganda and attitude of the Israeli government and the Knesset. They are tired of Netanyahu and his gang constantly holding the world hostage every time they see a chance. Thus, apparently and luckily we are not the only ones who are of this opinion. It sure puts the whole museum shooting in a different perspective to know that even some jewish communities are fed up with it and that they see through the “game of shadows,” as they describe it themselves.

It is also being reported that Miriam (Mira) Riva is a relative of a very influential Breslov Hasidim, rabbi Moshe Tsanany. Emanuel was reportedly working at the witness protection program of the Israeli government. The Riva’s funeral took place in Tel Aviv on May 27.

The sources also point to the fact that a 72-year-old worker of the museum was absent due to illness and was replaced by a volunteer, although they do not seem to indicate that there’s any suspicion to be worried about concerning the 72-year-old.

Continuing in their report the jewish  sources draw attention to how Netanyahu, head rabbis, the pope, the mainstream press and the government all band together as they collectively brand the shooting as antisemitic, knowing very well that there’s no evidence to support such claims. Indeed, should it be reported and confirmed in the coming months by the establishment press or governments that they have been reporting wrong narratives at this time on the shooting, with some luck a correction in a footnote will be printed on the last page of a newspaper to rectify the earlier mistakes. Obviously too late by then and even now already because the whole world has been fooled into believing that Israel and all jews are yet again a victim of extremist muslims who are heinous terrorists. By then no one will ever care about the footnote and Netanyahu and the Israeli government got what they wanted anyway.

This is exactly how the whole “war on terror” works. Fabricate stories, play innocent yourself and make the people believe that they need more security measures from their government. It’s not a coincidence that Israel is the prime developer and exporter of police state techniques, policies and systems. Certainly the EU is eagerly buying into all of this, including the fake narrative of the museum shooting. If not due to pressure from the Israel lobby then certainly to expand their fascist federation.

Update 2: Shooting at Jewish Museum Brussels, Belgium

As the official stories surrounding the May 24 shooting at the Brussels Jewish museum in Belgium further unfold we can confirm that our initial starting points and assumptions are further being proven to be accurate.

First of all, the “antisemitic terrorism” narrative that was first established by the government, the press and the Israel lobby in Belgium is now being pushed into the fast lane and being parroted worldwide, clearly indicating that that was exactly the intention from the very start even though NO evidence existed upon which these claims could be based within the first few hours after the shooting. We saw the very same happening MINUTES after 9/11 happened in 2001. It was also then immediately claimed that muslim extremists were responsible for the attacks and completely out of nowhere the name Osama bin Laden was launched by amateur observers who could not have known that bin Laden would be the patsy, unless that person who mentioned that name when he did knew about the very plot that was masterminded and then unfolding, which would be very odd at least because the official narrative was that the attacks came out of nowhere – totally unexpected. Yeah, right! Then why were the war games of 9/11 used as a cover?

jewish museum, brussels, shooting, terror, lone shooter, israel lobby, belgium, europe, eu, elections

Two of the alleged victims of the museum shooting, Miriam and Emmanuel Riva (above), the Tel Aviv couple, worked as accountants in Israeli government services including the Finance Ministry. Emmanuel Riva, had previously worked for Nativ, “the Israeli government agency that played a covert role in fostering Jewish immigration from the former Soviet Union.” It is being claimed that Miriam Riva worked for the Mossad although her actual position in the intelligence agency remains unclear so far [2].

“It was just two years ago that they returned from Germany after an assignment in Berlin, where they worked as accountants at a government corporation,” write Times of Israel and Ynet. “It took authorities many hours to identify the couple because they were not carrying identification on them during the attack,” according to Times of Israel. She had previously also worked for the Israeli prime minister’s office.

Either way, the Israeli intelligence agencies can benefit from domestic and overseas workers, even if the workers themselves don’t know or don’t realize it, since they can easily obtain access to all information of any government department and service. The fact that at some point in time they were working on an assignment in Berlin for a government corporation further indicates that indeed the couple may have had compartmentalized links to Nativ and Mossad. Front corporations are hallmarks of intelligence agencies like the Mossad and the CIA.

“The phrase ‘government service’ in Hebrew can sometimes be a euphemism for spy work.  In her case [Miriam Riva], the phrase fits, but only in the sense that she most likely worked for Israel’s overseas spy service in a capacity,” writes Richard Silverstein.

Other indications that suggest that we indeed should further investigate extensively the alleged links to Nativ and the Mossad is a statement of Robert Ayers, former U.S. intelligence officer according to Yahoo: “I don’t think a professional hitman would have done it this way. It was a guy who was deranged, who had been planning on doing something like this and did it.” Why should we dismiss this possibility so easily? After all, only very few details on the alleged shooter have come out yet in the public domain. Why not further investigate this possible lead as well? 3/11 was also perpetrated in broad daylight! The strong push of the official narrative that brands this claimed shooting as “antisemitic terrorism” ever since the very first hours after the event, without evidence, also indicates that something else is being played out. That an underlying agenda is being furthered. isn’t it BUSH? … and NETANYAHU, who’s statements are perfect proof of that. He condemns the European politicians for not denouncing loudly enough the alleged “antisemitic” attack and therefore calls them hypocrites, even though the televised political debates had been canceled because of the shooting and because of pressure from the Israel lobby. Arrogant warmonger!

We have already mentioned this in our first report that from the very start, the very first public statements, the antisemitic card was being drawn. Immediately after the first media reports of the shooting, the Israel lobby in Belgium urged the Belgian government and the EU to fight antisemitism more intense because they blame the lack of strong measures in the EU against anti-Israel sentiment (which is automatically being branded as anti-jewish sentiment) as one of the very reasons why the shooting happened.

However, the “antisemitic terrorism” campaign that now surrounds the shooting hardly has any basis, if any at all, when it comes to the “attack on the jews and Israel” narrative. The Belgian jewish community leader Maurice Sosnowski stated that “the museum was not protected like other jewish centers in Brussels because it is not exclusively a jewish community structure,” writes Times of Israel. Therefore it is at least very irresponsible and misleading to call the shooting antisemitic. Because when we follow the same logic here, how would it be branded then when a killer walks in a gasoline station and shoots four people? Would this then be perceived as an attack on all car and motorbike owners, on all car manufacturers?

It is obvious that the world has been caught up again in a false campaign that profiles Israel as a powerless victim, we can see this from the first reactions from persons like Netanyahu, and Rolf Tophoven. According to Netanyahu the shooting is an attack on Israel, although it occurred in Belgium, while Tophoven describes the shooting as “a leaderless jihad” by people who “radicalize themselves on the Internet. It would be the story of the autonomous terrorist whom nobody had on their radar screens, whom nobody knew.” Striking how this description fits the deceptive “war on terror” propaganda and agenda of Israel, the US and EU governments and NATO. Isn’t it?

Just to be sure, read the US Global Anti-Semitism Review/Awareness Act, signed by Bush in 2004, and this State Department report. It has ISRAEL LOBBY and ‘anti-muslim’ written all over it. The Global Anti-Semitism Review/Awareness Act allows the US government to “document and combat acts of anti-Semitism globally,” it can be applied anywhere in the world on its own and even more extensively when combined with the US NDAA and the US Patriot Act. Literally anything goes in the false “war on terror.”

It is being claimed that the Global Anti-Semitism Review/Awareness Act only mandated a one-time report on anti-Semitic acts and that it has no further impact and that it grants the US government no additional powers. This is, however, not true. “The Act also established within the U.S. Department of State an Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism. On May 22, 2006, Gregg Rickman was sworn in by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as the first Special Envoy.” The current special envoy to monitor and combat anti-semitism is Ira Forman, former jewish outreach director for the “Obama for America” campaign. The shooting in Belgium is currently not on Forman’s public news feed so the Israel lobby will have to push the “antisemitic terrorism” narrative harder should they want to see it appear there.

In the US Department of State’s Contemporary Global Anti-Semitism report it is also stated that:

“Anti-Semitism is at the root of numerous contemporary conspiracy theories, including the following examples of false claims.

  • Four thousand jews were falsely accused of not reporting to work at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, supposedly because they had been warned not to do so by those who had advance knowledge of the attack.”

This alleged conspiracy theory, about 9/11, is based on a statement made by Syrian ambassador Turki Muhammad Saqr who reportedly said on October 24, 2001, that “Syria has documented proof of the Zionist regime’s involvement in the September 11 terror attacks on the United States … [That] 4,000 jews employed at the World Trade Center did not show up for work before the attack clearly attests to Zionist involvement in these attacks.” Even if Saqr’s claim is not correct it has on the other hand still to be explained why Odigo users and staff knew about the 9/11 attacks TWO HOURS in advance. Odigo, an Israeli start-up founded in 1998, was an instant messaging service provider in the US and Israel. Workers and clients of Odigo had received early warnings that were accurate to the minute, on the day of the attacks [1, 2]. Odigo was later, in 2002, acquired by another major Israeli company Comverse. Comverse was together with NICE caught in 2003 when it came out that they had been wiretapping the EU’s Justus Lipsius building in Brussels since the 1990s [1, 2].

Unfortunately for the Israel lobby, even the US State Department is not backing them up for a full 100%. The US State Department’s working definition of antisemitism includes a provision that says “criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as anti-Semitic.” So under this provision it is perfectly acceptable to repeat, for example, that Israel is involved in the eco-terror and war crimes committed on March 11, 2011, in Japan, because Israel too accuses other nations of similar crimes.

Currently there are also alternative theories circulating on what happened in Brussels, in the jewish museum. One such theory is that it was a false flag event to be blamed on Russia. This shooting, according to this theory, can then be used as a pretext to legitimately attack Russia as a punishment for its invasion of Ukraine. That this shooting is part of a false flag campaign is certainly possible yes, we do not exclude that but further investigation and more leads are needed to confirm or disprove this.

The linked theory also points to an initial photo of the crime scene where it is claimed, by the author of that theory, that the photo is suspicious. There’s not enough blood and the clothes of the victims show no bloodstains, according to that author.

jewish museum, brussels, shooting, terror, lone shooter, israel lobby, belgium, europe, eu, elections

Sure it is possible that the shooting is staged but what proof is there for such claims? On what current fact can such claims be based? Belgium is not Hollywood, by far, and based on the provided videos the shooter was a hitman, not a rookie. The mentioned theory, originating from The Netherlands, is nothing more than that: a theory. Completely baseless and full of unfounded claims. No evidence is provided in any way. The video images are generally of poor quality and there where quality is better the shooter is completely unidentifiable. Purposely have the useful parts been cut out of course.

The fact is that should the government and the press in Belgium have described the shooting as a murder case and not immediately have given in to the Israel lobby’s deceptive “antisemitic terrorism” narrative this case would have quickly disappeared from the frontpages around the world. It would hardly be noticed at all.

But no, “lets call it a terrorist attack” then we can deploy more resources, stuff the streets with cops and search everyone, because who knows maybe the terrorist is hiding in a bag or a stroller. “Watch out” maybe there’s a bomb in there too.. Yeah, lets rape the public their rights with terror narratives!

jewish museum, brussels, shooting, terror, lone shooter, israel lobby, belgium, europe, eu, elections

It’s exactly what the whole “antisemitic terror” campaign was intended to do and it is working well for those who have been scripting it in the last couple of days. The Belgian OCAD unit has already announced that all police headquarters in the country and even the army are on high alert now because “the terrorist may strike there too.” It’s completely absurd and a totally exaggerated dramatized spectacle by now. Reality has been lost in the last few days and it seems very unlikely that it will ever return. Thank the gods for the “war on terror” and thank the gods for the peaceful state of Israel! Life on Earth would be horribly dull without those two.

Update: Brussels Shooting at Jewish Museum

Yesterday we reported on the shooting that occurred in a jewish museum in Brussels, Belgium, on Saturday. We described how, under strong pressure from the Israel lobby, the Belgian government and media had already concluded that the shooting was an act of “antisemitic terrorism,” although no evidence existed that could substantiate such claims.

During the elections in Belgium and the EU, Sunday May 25, police investigators released CCTV footage and photos from inside the museum and from its entrance wherein the shooter can be seen. Because the police investigators are stuck in the investigation and can’t identify the shooter they have requested the public for tips and help.

The video footage and photos were released the next day, after the shooting had occurred. The video quality does not allow to identify the alleged shooter. Yet, within hours after the shooting on Saturday the government, the Israel lobby and the media had already established the narrative and had already shaped the public opinion by claiming that the attack was an act of terrorism aimed at the jewish community and Israel. Haaretz even went as far as to claim that it was almost certain that it involved Muslim extremists, even though no images or video footage was yet released. A full day before the eventual videos and photos were provided to the public by the Belgian police was it already concluded by the Israel lobby and several other government sources, and eventually the press, that the attack looked very similar to Al Qaeda’s MO. Founded on wild assumption without any evidence to back up these claims.

The available videos and images provide no credible indications that indeed the alleged shooter is a Muslim or a member of Al CIAda:

Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgNLryxEB7U

Today, May 26, we read DailyMail’s updated version of their article on the shooting in Brussels wherein it is now being claimed that “authorities strongly suspect Al Qaeda-linked Islamic radicals are behind the attack.” No source for such claims is provided nor any evidence to back it up. Although it is widely known that DailyMail is a trashy tabloid piece, millions of people do read it every day so the article certainly has a lot of influence on public opinion and is by many perceived as the official narrative.

The victims are claimed to be Emanuel Riva and Miriam Riva from Tel Aviv, Dominique Chabrier and Alexandre Strens.

[update May 27, 2014: The Riva’s two children, daughters, are Shira and Ayelet – age 17 and 15 or 16 and 15 (1, 2). The Riva’s funeral took place at the Kiryat Shaul cemetery in Tel Aviv.]

Brussels Shooting at Jewish Museum Already Branded as “Antisemitic Terrorism” … Without Any Proof

jewish museum, brussels, shooting, terror, lone shooter, israel lobby, belgium, europe, eu, elections

Saturday afternoon, yesterday, around 3.50 pm an alleged “lone gunman” opened fire in the jewish museum downtown Brussels, Belgium. One of the alleged suspects was reportedly seen arriving at the scene in a car, an Audi, while the driver took off. It is reported that the shooter walked away after the shooting but conflicting reports also claim that he/they drove off in the same car.

Later last night police investigators in Belgium proudly reported in full media attention that they had swiftly apprehended a suspect but who was released soon after being interrogated and eventually being declared a witness only. This sudden twist in the investigation is just as weird as the immediate claims by national and international politicians and press that the shooting was an act of “antisemitic terrorism,” although no evidence currently exists that this is in fact the case. Again the media, politicians and lobby groups have profiled an incident in such manner that it can already benefit their common “war on terror” propaganda. Also the term “Al Qaeda” has already been mentioned by comparing the Brussels shooting with the Toulouse incident in France two years ago.

The shooter is claimed to have shot four people in the Brussels jewish museum, two Israeli nationals from Tel Aviv and two employees of the museum of which one was a volunteer, all victims are reportedly dead. The museum shooter seemed a trained shooter, he shot the victims in the head and throat, hallmarks of skilled shooting and professional assassins. An early report by the Dutch TV text service spoke of 3 deaths and 12 victims [2]. That report was later retracted but another Dutch media outlet Elsevier.nl maintains that there are at least 10 victims, further indicating that the establishment press is aiding in making this alleged shooting a useful event for the “war on terror” by exaggerating what has happened. The shooting took place in the Sablon area where a three-day jazz festival was in full swing. The area is usually clogged with tourists and shoppers on weekends, a perfect setting for “terror” news spins.

Belgian foreign minister Didier Reynders was one of the first bystanders on the scene, he claims that it was he who called for police and emergency units at the crime scene at the museum. He also said that the shooting may have been an act of antisemitism, although the investigation has still to be concluded.

Belgian minister of internal affairs Joëlle Milquet issued a statement declaring that the highest level of security had been installed, level 4, resulting in high-alert presence and security for the jewish community in Brussels. Also Antwerp has raised security levels in its jewish community quarters, including the Diamond Quarter.

Chairman of the Belgian League Against Antisemitism Joël Rubinfeld immediately made a public announcement saying that it was an act of terror of antisemitic nature, although no evidence exists that would currently suggest that that is indeed the case. His remarks were swiftly followed by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement, declaring the attack “a result of instigating hatred towards jews and Israel.” Netanyahu also said that “we keep hearing lies being spread in Europe against the state of Israel and this while crimes against humanity and murders occur in our region that are being ignored.” Also the World Jewish Congress already branded the shooting as antisemitic terrorism and urged the EU government to put antisemitism and the attack in Brussels high on its agenda.

To which crimes Netanyahu is referring remains unclear but the fact is that Israel is waging a police state apartheid regime against Palestinians, although we are quite sure he is not referring to these crimes (Libanon 1978, 1982-2000, 2006; Palestine 1987-1993 and 2000-2005; Jenin [1, 2]; Gaza 2009 to present).

The shooter, a “European type wearing dark clothes” was carrying two duffle bags during the shooting, writes Flemish newspaper De Morgen. Haaretz responded to this information and wrote that “for now, the scenario of radical Muslim attackers – rather than neo-Nazis ones – is the most likely.”

Of course this is a completely baseless assumption because we know that the Israeli government is working in tandem with neo-nazis in Ukraine, who are by the way both responsible for the murders in Odessa. Also from other reports, also at least once published by Haaretz, we know that the “jewish support for the far-right” in Belgium is gaining momentum, described by Haaretz as “a phenomenon in Antwerp that would have been inconceivable not long ago.”

The shooting at the jewish museum in Brussels also resulted in the canceling of various in advance planned political debates, concerning today’s elections in Belgium and the EU. The politicians and parties that were set to participate in the televised debates on the VTM TV channel announced the debates being cancelled in respect for the victims. This decision was not well received by countless citizens in Flanders and Belgium who complained via Twitter that the shooting should not be used as an excuse to cancel the TV debates. According to several citizens and their tweets to VTM, who was to host the debates, the politicians in Belgium show that they are afraid to be confronted with real questions.

  • “Why is the jewish community so important in Belgium? Why not the same attention for other populations?!”MS
  • “No ultimate debate! Silly excuse! Half doesn’t dare to debate with Bart… [N-VA, Flemish nationalist party]”SAM
  • “Debate cancelled: one terrorist determines agenda.”EG
  • “After the shooting in Erembodegem [May 22, 2014] the [political] campaign continued.”DM
  • “Comedy show is not being cancelled … strange”KP
  • “Why not a minute silence or so? This is ridiculous.”KV
  • “Don’t understand it? What is the relevance? Upon death Dehaene EU debate continued”JD
  • “They’re all getting away easy [the politicians]. Anything to not get caught pants down.”RH
  • “I find this abuse of circumstances.”T
  • “A debate particularly now is appropriate.”NDD
  • “Tweeting [political] pictures of celebrations 2 hours after attack and then damage control. #Weak”T
  • “Maybe our politicians were not well-prepared for a debate about security?”SP
  • “Or afraid that one party might capitalize on this ‘isolated’ accident?”P
  • “Unbelievable how they use every opportunity to not have to debate.”J
  • “No national debate due to event … pity … wanted to see what the parties their opinions are…”S
  • “Just ridiculous. This has nothing to do with each other. Will the elections of tomorrow also be cancelled???”CW
  • Every day people die. Maybe no more broadcasting of programs out of respect for the families of the deaths daily”JC
  • “Please cancel the elections as well out of respect for the victims!”KVDS
  • “Silly to cancel debate. Weak. Every day people die. All scared, yeah.”T
  • “Sorry but this is ridiculous to cancel the ultimate debate.”GD
  • “My condolences for the victims bu this is stupid.”DK
  • “When one shooter can silence the democratic debate then our democracy has weak foundations.”DB
  • “First disarming the citizens and the police and then there’s panic when something like this happens.”TV
  • “Media and politics give in to terror. Brave…”KR
  • “What about respect for the voters?”SN

Indeed it is striking how fast the Belgian politicians have changed course by cancelling the national debates for today’s national and EU elections, clearly under strong influence of the pro-Israel faction in Belgium and abroad who was all too eager to throw around the terms “antisemitic,” “terrorism” and “radical muslim” even without any conclusive evidence. Obviously the Israel lobby in Belgium has had its way again by completely overshadowing the elections and the possible hard questions that would have been asked in the final debates, with the hyping of this shooting incident in Brussels. They’ve made sure that all eyes would once again be focused on the “victimized” Israeli state.

The Power of the Israel Lobby in Belgium (EU)

How can it be that even after about three quarters of a century since the official end of colonialism (although not in practice), Israel is left completely unpunished for its occupation of Palestine? How is it possible that Israel is being treated with the utmost respect although they continue to violate a dozen UN resolutions? While Israel discriminates against and oppresses the Palestinians, on their own territory, while Israel expands its apartheid regime, while Israel locks in the population of Gaza in an open-air prison, while Israel commits state-sponsored terrorism and has made it its national policy to collectively persecute Arab communities (Libanon 1978, 1982-2000, 2006; Palestine 1987-1993 and 2000-2005; Jenin [1, 2]; Gaza 2009 to present).

Double Standards

The double moral standards of the “friends of Israel,” who accept and defend Israel’s actions but condemn any other nation or community who would commit the same crimes, are shocking to say the least. How is it possible that a man like Guy Verhofstadt (liberal party, former Belgian prime minister, current candidate for the EU Commission’s chairmanship), who brags about his public and private trips to Israel, without hesitation describes Arab minorities in Israel and Palestine as second-class?

Verhofstadt has no problems with the fact that Jews born in Warsaw or New York can migrate to Israel without any implications while Palestinians who were chased out of the country in 1948, and whose houses were destroyed, cannot return to their land. In an interview with Adi Schwartz and the then Belgian prime minister Verhofstadt, published by Haaretz in 2005, we find:

  • “I thought it was part of the past,” says Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt with a smile, referring to the attempt by some people in his country to put Ariel Sharon on trial for war crimes in their courts. The affair, which marred Israeli-Belgian relations and even caused Israel to recall its ambassador from Brussels, came to an end in August 2003 after Verhofstadt’s government amended the relevant law and the court canceled the procedures against Sharon. …”
  • “The phenomenon for him is very clear – and he has no difficulty identifying anti-Semitism. ‘If you attack Jews because they are Jews, you are an anti-Semite. When you’re tackling and directly criticizing Israel or the Jewish community (in Belgium), that’s anti-Semitism. If somebody starts to say that the Jewish state cannot exist, that’s a form of anti-Semitism. That’s very clear. … “
  • “Verhofstadt supports Israel’s existence as a Jewish state, even if as a result some people – for example, Arabs – are discriminated against. ‘The Law of Return is the basic idea of the foundation of the State of Israel,’ he says, ‘that is, the idea that any Jew can come and immediately become a citizen.’ … Regarding discrimination against Arabs he says: ‘That’s a question for internal lawmaking in Israel, but I think legislation like this exists already in other countries. It’s not the monopoly of Israel.”

Verhofstadt is not the only one who displays selective blindness. Another former prime minister of Belgium, Yves Leterme, who was honored as the “Navigator of Jerusalem” by the European Jewish Congress, is just as friendly towards Israel and its anti-Palestine policy. “Personally, I think we shouldn’t let our relationship with Israel be influenced by the Palestinian conflict,” he said as prime minister. Which, in other words, thus means as much as Israel can colonize at will.

Or what about the Flemish nationalist party N-VA? On March 3, 2008, they supported the “60 years displaced, 40 years occupied!” campaign by Action Platform Palestine but as the party’s electoral victory came in sight the support for such causes and the firm stances on Israel were swiftly changing or even vanishing completely. A mere 3 years later when a campaign was launched by Free Gaza to send another aid fleet to Gaza, not through established channels or conventional venues, the United Nations and the Jewish community in Belgium sabotaged and condemned the initiative and the nationalist and by then ruling party N-VA went as far as to describe the whole campaign as “a form of terrorism” [1, 2, 3]. This proves how deep the fake “war on terror” is already rooted in the social fabric of society and that indeed the zionist lobbies around the world are the main drivers of this perpetual crusade against alleged terrorists by manipulating not only the US [1, 2] and the UK but all national governments and international policies. Practically every politician around the world has already submitted to the zionist dictates a long time ago if not increasingly since 9/11 and 3/11.

By now it are known facts that Israel is the prime developer and exporter of police state techniques, policies and systems; is highly involved in the September 11 (2001) attacks on the American people and their property; (through the Mossad and Magna BSP) is one of the prime suspects of the war crimes and eco-terror in Fukushima Japan; is behind the nuclear attacks on Syria in 2013; that they want to control the internet; that they have formed and steer an alliance with neo-nazis in Ukraine and are responsible for the murder of Ukrainians on May 3-5 in Odessa. The list goes on and on and the facts are stacking up ever faster.

The influence of the Israel lobby in Belgium is not limited to political opinions and views alone. Even when the Mossad’s front companies NICE and Comverse were caught, in 2003, wiretapping [2] the EU’s Justus Lipsius building in Brussels since the 1990s, Israel and the companies got a free pass by the then prime minister of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt. “Documents asked for by investigators were delivered years later; and search warrants for private homes were issued six years after they were first requested. In the end, nobody was caught,” wrote EU Observer, and the then minister of justice Stefaan De Clerck said that “we shouldn’t get paranoid. Lets not blame people or companies just like that. That is not appropriate.” [1, 2]

Ariel Sharon

Another Belgian Israel lobby case concerned Ariel Sharon. Sharon became prime minister of Israel in 2001, although an Israeli commission had confirmed his responsibility for the massacre in Sabra and Shatila in 1982. His premiership enraged the survivors and the families of the victims which led them to filing a complaint against Sharon, in Belgium. This was possible because Belgium had earlier adopted a law as a result of the Rwanda genocide which allowed for the prosecution of international war criminals.

Soon after the filing, a counter-campaign was launched by the Israel lobby in Belgium. The Belgian Jewish press portrayed the Belgians as a bunch of anti-semites. The counter-campaign was led by IDF officer Rafi Yerushalmi, among others, and was supported by members and professors of several universities in Belgium and by liberal party members. The Israel lobby’s campaign was successful in that it was also able to block the redistribution of a 1998 brochure in which the true intentions of Israel in its occupation of Palestine were questioned.

Finally the Belgian law on genocide was amended which would permanently disable the possibility to effectively prosecute international war criminals like Sharon, Bush (Sr, Jr) and Blair. The amendment of the law on genocide was approved with the support of key figures of the then Belgian government, prime minister Guy Verhofstadt and minister Louis Michel; MPs Herman De Croo, Hugo Coveliers and the Polish-Jewish Fred Erdman. Along with the pressure from the Belgian Israel lobby also the American Israel lobby, through the US government, pressured the Belgian government to amend the law on genocide, for if it did not then the NATO headquarters would be changed to a location outside of the Belgian territory [2, 3, 4]. This immediately proves who is really running NATO and that NATO is not just an alliance of nations. It’s an instrument for war that is constantly being deployed to further the US’ imperialism which in turn serves the international Israel lobby, who thus are the actual zionist puppeteers. Also a remark by the then spokesperson for the Israeli department of foreign affairs was pretty clear on who eventually got the job done and confirms the zionist hands on the puppets’ strings: “With this law we were unable to make it, so we contacted our friends.”

Censorship in Jewish Schools

Jewish schools in Belgium, both private and public subsidized, are subject to far-reaching censorship enforced by the Belgian Jewish community and the Israel lobby. In this matter it are especially the public subsidized schools that pose the biggest problem because these are bound to implement the national education policies and curriculum.

A multitude of public subsidized Jewish schools retain a strict policy on what the children and students can and can not be “exposed to.” For example, images that are not allowed in the Jewish school material are:

  • grandparents kissing each other on the cheek
  • underwear hanging on a clothesline
  • woman with bare arms or bare belly button
  • rooster on a church’s rooftop
  • curves of the female breast

In some books also entire paragraphs are erased or pasted over with blank paper. Words such as “church,” “pope,” “girls band” are not allowed and thus deleted. The prehistoric eras and theory on evolution are banned and girls must leave school an hour before the boys finish classes, to avoid that contact can be established between the two genders. Also internet is not allowed on several of these schools [1, 2].

The schools also follow strict principles to not discuss sexuality, reproduction, politics, religion and racism. Nor can there be any mentioning of pharaohs, the middle ages, art (except Jewish art), catholic music or pop music.

belgium, israel lobby

By now, several teachers of a Belgian Jewish school have come forward to express their frustration about the far-reaching censorship:

  • “Every time new school books arrive they are first thoroughly reviewed by the ‘censorship commission,’ after which we receive documents containing three columns. In the first column are the pages with drawings and images that need to be blacked out. In the second column are the pages listed that need to be taken out completely. In the third column the pages are listed that contain information we cannot use or discuss. Of course, it takes a while until the commission has decided what is to be left and what is to be deleted or altered. This results in situations where children have to wait until April before they eventually receive their school books (classes start in September), so we need to improvise a lot. All children and students receive a bookmark containing a Hebrew proverb that says that everything that is not Jewish is ‘filth of the world.’ The problems arise in private schools but also in the by the government subsidized schools. In the past ten years we’ve had only one government inspection, which is bizarre. When one of the teachers asked how it can be that positive government inspection reports are still the standard then the off-record response was that the inspection reports are being ‘bought’ and that the commission has good connections in this matter.”

Volunteers for the Israeli Army

Every year a large number of jews travel to Israel to volunteer in the Israeli army, through “Sar-El” (The National Project for Volunteers for Israel). Sar-El was founded in 1982-1983 when Israel, during its invasion of Lebanon, had a shortage in manpower. By 2010 more than 132,000 volunteers from around the world had already worked with Sar-El, recruited through the Jewish Agency for Israel [2]. Sar-El is funded by the Israeli army and by public fundraising.

In many ways it is Israel’s foreign legion but also regular Israeli soldiers are active in the Sar-El unit(s). (“IDF Foreign Legion Still Going Strong” – Jerusalem Post – January 20, 1989; “Sar-El: Volunteerism Is Alive And Well” – Jerusalem Post – January 3, 1992).

In times of great military mobilization there’s full-scale recruitment through Sar-El, such was the case in 1982 when Israel occupied Lebanon, in 1991 during the Gulf war (7,000 recruits/volunteers) and in 2001-2002 for the second intifada (8,100 recruits/volunteers).

In 2001 and 2002 the Jewish Agency for Israel worked in overtime and this was noticeable even in Belgium where people were recruited “in silence,” through B’nai B’rith in Brussels and Antwerp, through the various Shmira and the ORT. the jewish press in Belgium also provided supporting coverage in their newspapers and weekly magazines.

According to the Belgian law on mercenaries a Belgian national can only serve a foreign state when it concerns “the recruitment by a state, on its territory, of a foreign regular member of the armed forces of that state, not to be deployed outside the recruiting state’s territory for purposes other than technical military support that the recruiting sate offers to another state.” In the case of Israel it is thus yet to be seen whether their recruitment of volunteers is legal since their operations are more than likely to involve actions in or against Palestine, Syria or Lebanon. If so, and likely this is the case, then the recruitment of Israel in Belgium is illegal, under international law as well.

It remains unclear how many people, in total since 1982, have been recruited in Belgium to support the Israeli forces.

In 2010 it was reported that that year was relatively calm, Sar-El had recruited 3,367 volunteers in about 60 countries. 1,098 from France, 1,045 from the US, 179 from Canada, 129 from the UK, 118 from Russia, 67 from the Netherlands, 45 from Australia, 37 from Germany, 24 from Spain, 24 from Italy and 8 from Belgium.

In 2012 the number of recruits was apparently up again, more than 4,000. Argentina 105, Australia 65, Austria 4, Belarus 105, Belgium 11, Brazil 11, Canada 153, Chile 2, Colombia 1, Costa-Rica 5, Cuba 1, Czech Republic 14, Denmark 2, England 72, Estonia 2, Finland 96, France 1,086, Germany 59, The Netherlands 41, Hungary 95, Ireland 6, Israel 449, Italy 36, Latvia 1, Mexico 24, New Zealand 13, Norway 56, Panama 2, Peru 1, Poland 1, Portugal 1, Romania 2, Russia 92, Scotland 3, Serbia 10, Slovakia 4, South Africa 104, Spain 14, Sweden 5, Switzerland 27, Ukraine 49, Uruguay 55, USA 1,221, Uzbekistan 5 and Venezuela 1.

The Lobby

Thus, the Israel lobby certainly exists in Belgium and it has a strong grip on the Belgian society, the politicians and the government. This grip is ever expanding with the formation and expansion of the EU. Organizations and “think tanks” like Medbridge Strategy Center, AJC Transatlantic Institute, Europe Near East Forum and the European Friends of Israel are ensuring that Israel’s foreign policies will be implemented in the European federation, of which Belgium is the center.

It works identical in the US with AIPAC and ADL, in Australia with AIJAC, in the UK with CFI and BICOM. In Russia it’s not different, although the term “Israel-lobby” is rather new in relation to the above, Russia nonetheless has plenty of Israeli oligarchs who are close to the Russian government due to their personal wealth and economic power. On foreign policy and in relation to Iran, Russia and Israel are closing the gap.

The EU and Belgium also provide Israel with prime policies and agreements when it concerns trade and continuing occupation of Palestine. Israel has its own arrangements when it comes to import to the EU zone, through which it rakes in hundreds of millions of euro in profits, annually. The Belgian government and Dexia bank on their turn are not too shy to finance Israel’s illegal settlements in Palestine.

In 2003, Michaël Carlisle of the Jewish Defense League, (JDL) announced that the JDL was working on its further expansion in Europe and Belgium. “The project is taking shape, we have ten to fifteen people in Belgium whose training has started and things are looking good. We intend to settle in Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp,” he said. The main purpose of the JDL in Belgium is to ensure the defense of the jewish community. “It’s about defensive security.” According to several sources the group was practicing martial arts specifically “to fight anti-semitism and everything that endangers Israel.”

Belgium’s deep-rooted diamond trade in Antwerp [1, 2, 3, 4], largely run by the Jewish community, is in many ways a representation of the general state of affairs in Belgian commerce. Although there’s a certain change noticeable, companies in general will not take strong positions on Israel’s actions in Palestine and its interference nationally in Belgium to avoid being branded as anti-semitic. This of course gives the Israel lobby also a firm grip on the media. Aside from the few exceptions, the mainstream media in general will not be too critical on Israel. But then again, this is the same when it comes to corruption by the Belgian governments and politicians. Neither will the establishment media in Belgium be critical on the UN and NATO, on 9/11 and 3/11, on the global warming hoax and global governance.

In closing it should also be mentioned that with the current evolving situation in Ukraine, Belgium has more and more features in common with Ukraine. Just like it is the case in Ukraine, with Israel joining forces with neo-nazis, also in Belgium are new alliances being formed with right-wing extremist parties but most of all steered by zionists. In 2003 Haaretz reported that “growing fear of Muslims and alienation from the Belgian political establishment have given rise to a phenomenon in Antwerp that would have been inconceivable not long ago: Jewish support for the far-right Vlaams Blok party.” In the case of Belgium, we have Bush’s deceptive “war on terror” to thank for this increase in anti-Muslim sentiment.

In response to the law on genocide, which sparked a major controversy, and in the aftermath of course of the declared “war on terror” after the 9/11 false flag attacks occurred, the Belgian government has granted Israel, and other nations, the right to track terror suspects within Belgium’s territory, giving the Mossad, and the CIA, full and unrestricted access to do whatever they feel fit in Belgium. It’s not like they weren’t already doing that, it’s just that now they also officially can.
